Ron Defore stops by this week to talk all about what it was like “growing up” in Disneyland in the late 1950’s & 1960’s. Ron’s father, Hollywood actor (with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame) Don DeFore was a close friend of Walt Disney’s and to this day is the only “real life” person to ever have a restaurant named after him in Disneyland, Don DeFore’s Silver Banjo Barbecue!

Ron talks all about his father’s history with Walt Disney & what it was like to be there in the heyday of Disneyland when Walt still roamed the park!

For more on the DeFore family and Don DeFore’s Silver Banjo Barbecue, stop by defore.net, the Official Fan Club of Don DeFore!

Ever wonder why there are so many screaming children and exhausted adults walking around Walt Disney World? WDW can be overwhelming for little ones and for parents who don’t know how to deal with a lot of the surprises that the long days in the parks and resorts will provide. This week, two magnificent moms join me to talk about how to tackle the Disney parks with young kids.

Thanks so much to my guests this week, Jen Hoffman & Amy Gramlich (making her world podcast debut, by the way!)

Jenn Hoffman is a certified personal trainer, yoga teacher, and a mom two three young children. Check out her site at healthymoving.com to get started exercising less, moving more, and feeling better!

Yehaa Bob Jackson has been delighting guests at the River Roost Lounge at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort for almost 20 years! His action-packed, family-friendly show plays to a full house four nights each week and if you’ve ever seen him live, you know that no one has more fun than him!

This week, Bob took a little bit of time out of his very busy schedule to talk about his life and career with Disney.
Please stop by yehaabob.com for more information on Yehaa Bob Jackson or to purchase his CDs or t-shirts!

Just like the food in Walt Disney World isn’t all burgers and chicken tenders, the beer selection in the vacation capital of the world isn’t all big breweries served in stands around the theme parks. Believe it or not, Walt Disney World has several fantastic locations where an adult can responsibly drink some pretty amazing Varsity Shirley Temples! This week’s episode of the podcast explores the Best Beer Stops in Walt Disney World!

When you think of the Disney theme parks, you probably think of the amazing sights and sounds that they are famous for. What you might not think of, however, are the amazing smells of the parks and resorts. Yes, Walt Disney World goes after all four senses, and in this episode of the podcast, we talk about the Best Smells In Walt Disney World!

*FYI: In this podcast, there are a few remarks/jokes about alligators at Splash Mountain that were made before the unfortunate accident in June of 2016. While this was made before the incident and in jest, we did want all listeners aware of it before listening to this content. Thanks!

You’re on the clock! You have 10 seconds. You have the first overall pick in the Magic Kingdom Attractions Draft! Which attraction in the MK is the best and would be your first choice? That is the question that I gave my guests on this week’s episode of the podcast.

If you had to build your top four team of Magic Kingdom attractions, what would your strategy be? Listen in as Aly Miller, Johnny Shortsleeve, Herb Leibacher and myself fight for the top attractions in the Magic Kingdom in this NFL-style draft!

Since Walt Disney released his company’s first ever full-length feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, the name “Disney” has become synonymous with high-quality family entertainment. You’ve heard of Aladdin, The Lion King, & Mary Poppins, but what about those Disney movies that weren’t huge hits? On this episode of the podcast, my guest Chuck Rodriguez and I talk about those movies that fell through the cracks and are the Best Disney Movies You’ve Never Seen!

Walt Disney World is known as a place where parents and children can have fun together. It is a magical place where dreams come true, where fairytales are real, and where dudes can go and have an amazing “man-cation.” Yes, you read that last part right! In this episode of the Ear To There Podcast, my guest Johnny Shortsleeve and I talk about the often overlooked experiences that real, manly men (or regular dudes) can experience on a Walt Disney World Vacation.

Guys can experience manly things like steaks, golf, and…spas? There’s a good explanation, I promise!

Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy this week’s episode of the Ear To There Podcast!

Walt Disney never intended for Disneyland to become a museum. He knew that the park would keep moving forward, and in order to do that certain things had to be lost along the way.

In this episode of the Ear To There Podcast, guests Herb Leibacher, Johnny Shortsleeve and myself talk about the attractions, shows, & food we still miss in Walt Disney World. (RIP Buffalo Chicken Waffle from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments!)

Thank you so much for listening and I hope you enjoy this episode of the Ear To There Podcast!

In this episode of the Ear To There Podcast, guests Aly Miller, Lauren Gaggioli, Jen Hoffman and I talk about how to stay healthy and injury-free on your next trip to the Disney theme parks.

Thanks so much for listening to this episode of the Ear To There Podcast!

A true Legend of the Disney Company, Rolly Crump worked on some of the greatest memories of everyone’s childhood. He was an animator on Peter Pan and other Disney Animated Classics, helped create The Haunted Mansion and it’s a small world (and many other Disneyland and WDW attractions), and has his own window on Main Street U.S.A.

Recently, I had the opportunity to talk with Rolly about some of the things he’s worked on and his relationship with Walt Disney himself. Rolly is one heck of a storyteller, and I hope you enjoy listening to his stories just as much as I did!

Rolly Crump & Jeff Heimbuch’s book, “It’s Kind of a Cute Story” can be found and purchased on Amazon HERE
